World Book Day

Did you know that reading for pleasure is the single biggest indicator of a child's future success? That's why 'World Book Day' is so important! It enables our children to take part, understand and be part of something bigger than themselves.

Class dressing up themes yesterday were:

Reception, Year 1& Year 2

- Any character from their favourite traditional story.

Year 3

- Any character from ‘Alice in Wonderland’, ‘The Firework Makers Daughter’, or ‘How to train your Dragon’.

Year 4

- Any character from ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’, or ‘Running on the Roof of the World’.

Year 5

- ‘Brightstorm’ (Aviation themed character) A character from ‘Matilda’.

Year 6

- An Evacuee, a Convict, an Angel, Frankenstein or a Pirate.
