Year 1 news of the week

This term, in maths, Year 1 have been learning about taller and shorter objects. We have been comparing and measuring heights .

In science, we have been exploring objects up close using simple devices. We have been amazed by the details we have found on different objects. 

In writing , we have been learning to write in the third person , focusing on pronouns. Our current book focus is Stanley's stick by John Hegley
