Aim high achieve together

Science Week

To kick off Science Week 2022, Year 5 and 6 took part in a video call with other primary schools within KCSP to learn about an experiment.  The children were challenged to find the optimum amount of liquid to add to a 500ml bottle in order to be successful in flipping and landing right side up.

The children designed their own investigation, deciding how much liquid to use and how many times to flip their bottle.

They recorded their results and then wrote up their experiments before reconvening their video call after lunch in order to feed back our findings.
