Reception news

This week in Year R we have been exploring our new topic People who help us. We discovered some vegetables in distress on Tuesday morning! We also discovered a letter from an evil Pea who had been causing all kinds of trouble, Mrs Tutte then introduced us to our story this half term ‘Supertato’ we then learnt Makaton signs for all the different vegetables.

We have been getting creative in Topic learning about what it means to be a superhero and creating our own superhero costumes. We have thoroughly enjoyed learning about onomatopoeia words in Literacy and practiced using these through our KooKoo Kangaroo superhero song!

Such a fun week, we are excited for all our new learning this half term!
