Rainforest exploration for Year 4

How does the water cycle work in a rainforest?

What foods can be found in a rainforest?

What do plants in the rainforest need to live and grow?

Year 4 pupils had all these questions and more answered by Juliet from the Wildwood Trust who recently visited St. Joseph's for a rainforest themed workshop. The children had a fabulous time taking part in activities such as sorting animals into their habitats across the layers of the rainforest, conducting experiments and even getting close to some creepy crawlies that live there. A big thank you to The Wildwood Trust for a really fun and educational afternoon.
