How Hama Beads help the needy

Following a plea to parents for donations for our local food bank, Year 2 pupil   Jacob Gibbons set to work with his Hama Beads to make and sell his creations to his family and friends.  With the proceeds he decided that he wanted to donate every penny he earnt to fill our food bank and help local families in need across Thanet.

Jacob has truly demonstrated one of St. Joseph’s core values by ‘caring’ for others and for the world around us.

When thanking Jacob for his amazing contribution he  said “I worked really hard and my efforts are definately worth it.  I'm going to do lots of different things to raise money for charity and then I may need to have 4 trolleys at the supermarket.  I want to be a charity worker when I grow up”.
