What a Christmas Cracker of a week we've had at St. Joseph's

The lighting of the class Advent Wreaths kicked off our celebrations last week, reminding us that the Advent season is a time of preparation for our hearts and minds for the anniversary of the Lord’s birth at Christmas.

Our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 class excelled themselves this week performing their 'Big Little Nativity' three times to Juniors and to their parents. They were all absolute superstars!

A massive thank you to Lloyds Bank in Ramsgate who invited every child at St. Joseph's to enter a Christmas Picture Competition. Caroline from Lloyds, who coordinated the competition, delivered an amazing Assembly on Thursday where the class first, second and third prizes were awarded. Every child however was considered a winner and went home with a special gift from the Lloyds team. Their masterpieces will be displayed in the Lloyds Banking Hall in Ramsgate throughout the Christmas period.
