St. Joseph's Science Spectacular

  As part of Science Week we were delighted to welcome Stuart (aka Gooey Stuey) from FizzPop Science to deliver some fantastic workshops to the whole school.  The children were absolutely captivated – from experiencing hair-raising fun with static electricity to exploring the wonders of light, learning about Darwin’s theory of Evolution and even getting hands-on with slime, Stuart’s energy, enthusiasm and engaging approach made science truly come alive for our pupils.  Science Lead Sarah Tutte said “ It has been a brilliant way to spark curiosity and deepen the children’s understanding of key scientific concepts.  The excitement and learning that took place were clear to see and we are so grateful to Stuart and Fizz Pop Science for such an inspiring experience”
