Aim high achieve together

Year 2

Wow! What a busy term we have had and what a busy one we have to look forward to. May has seen year two working their socks of taking part in many assessments as part of the end of key stage 1 SATs. Mrs Reid has kept things calm and relaxed and is very proud of the children’s efforts. You will be notified if your child has reached age expectations as part of their end of year report in July.

Work will continue in term six to ensure any gaps in the children’s understanding are filled before they move into the juniors in September. Children who will need an enhanced transition package have been identified and this piece of work will commence after half term. We are looking forward to finishing the year with lots of learning in the natural world and of course getting super fit in sports week.

Thank you for your continued support and as ever, please feel free to contact a member of the team if you have any questions or concerns.
