Welcome
St. Josephs' Parent, Friend and Teacher Association comprises of willing parents, grandparents and staff who meet regularly to raise money for the school and have some fun along the way! The money we raise is used to fund extra projects across the school that directly benefit our children.
We organise various fun events ranging from our traditional family Christmas Fair to more parent-orientated activities like our popular Quiz Nights. Towards the end of the summer term we hold a Summer Fair which is a great way to finish the academic year.
As a small committee we really do require support from you in order to help raise vital funds for the school that directly benefits our children. If you feel that you can help us in any way then please do get in contact either through our Facebook page or the school office.
Why not come along to an event or join the Committee? For more information e-mail the Chair of the PTFA on ptfa4stjosephs@gmail.com or leave your details at the school office and we will contact you.

The Penny War competition is getting exciting now! Keep bringing in those pennies or small change to try to win the competition for your class

Past Events
The PTFA run lots of events during the year. In the past these have included:
- Summer Fair
- Christmas Fair
- Film Night
- New Book Sales
- Crazy Colour Donation Day
- Annual General Meeting
The PTFA also organised a visit from Father Christmas.
Father Christmas, the children and the cheeky Elves worked their magic to make the children's presents appear in their classrooms in December last year whilst the children were not able to have visitors into their class bubbles.
Makeover for the Nature Garden
The PTFA gave the Nature Garden a makeover to make it more accessible to all year groups. A big thankyou for all the hard work put in by the staff, committee, their family and friends.
What the PTFA have funded
All of the hard work fund raising paid off just before Christmas when the PTFA funded new markings for the Key Stage 1 playground.
The PTFA have also funded:
- Year 6 Leavers presents
- Tickets for the Christmas Panto at the Winter Gardens
- Welcome packs for new parents

Pre-Loved Uniform Shop
The aim of the PTFA pre-loved uniform shop is to both provide a source of affordable good quality uniform and to raise money for the school. We are happy to receive donations of uniform items that are of good condition. This can also include sports kit and book bags which are always in high demand.
