Aim high achieve together

History Day 2024

As part of our whole school History Day we celebrated the History topics the children have studied, and incorporated the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Some of our children chose to dress up as people who lived through WW2 such as soldiers, land girls and evacuees.

Children were invited to dress as any historical character and our History lead Mrs. Osborne said she was absolutely thrilled with the children’s enthusiasm and understanding about history, and that days like this will hopefully help to develop a lifelong curiosity in History as a subject.
